Inspired by the spirit of my grandmother, I crafted this piece as a tribute to her legacy. Though she is no longer with us, the memories of her wearing this attire for special occasions fill my heart with warmth. The colors reflect the joy and peace she communicated. The scarf worn on top, called a ‘rebozo’, is used to show respect for our forefathers. She owned other traditional attire, but this one was very special to her, which is why I happily embroidered it.
