Program:
ART@WORK
We connect businesses with local and regional artists to elevate spaces with original artwork to reflect the rich culture of North Carolina.
The Art@Work Program connects local artists to local businesses for mutually beneficial opportunities. The primary goal of the program is to lease (or sell) local art to local businesses to be displayed in their offices and private or public buildings. In addition to directly supporting local artists and the arts community, Art@Work clients have the opportunity to visually reflect the aesthetic, brand and values of their business by selecting art from a wide variety of artists, styles and mediums. DAG can provide an array of consulting and professional services to meet different needs and different budgets.
If you have additional questions about the Art@Work Program, please contact our Executive Director, Liz Gage, at liz@durhamartguild.org.

Our Curatorial Process
-
Before art installation begins, we’ll get to know you, your mission, and the project’s parameters to start creating a vision and a plan for our creative work together.
-
From artist recommendations and renderings to on-site visits, we'll develop a creative strategy, design options, timelines, and more to ensure a smooth start to finish.
-
DAG will make a call for artwork that fits your wants and needs. Depending on your capacity and interest, you will have the opportunity for constituent engagement by adding up to 5 jurors on a panel to select the artwork for each exhibition.
-
Time to install artwork! As you begin to enjoy the look of your newly artsy space, we'll keep things communicated, organized, and on schedule.
-
Additional employee or client engagement is provided to you and organized by DAG, including special receptions to meet the artists you have selected to exhibit.

“Purchasing 20 pieces of art from multiple local artists may seem like a daunting task. It is... unless you have some help. It has been a dream to work with Durham Art Guild. They reached out to artists for us, helped us choose pieces, arranged payments and deliveries, and even hung the art for us. The whole process has been seamless.”
