PARKING
"The Arts Access Gallery is located in downtown Raleigh at 444 S. Blount at the corner of Blount and Cabarrus. Street and garage parking is free on the weekends. The City Center garage at 429 S. Wilmington Street (with entrances on Blount and Cabarrus) is closest to the gallery."
February Moderator Dan Gottlieb
Photographer Dan Gottlieb’s studio practice investigates boundaries of environmental and human movement/dislocation. Having spent forty years creating cultural spaces and environments for art in the public realm, he focuses his creative life on personal perspectives that convey a subjective aesthetic to depict nature and the human condition, sometimes void of edges or boundaries. Visual ambiguity and mystery are core to his picture-making, as are a deep interest in environmental sciences and material process of picture making. His exhibitions, Figure Ground, Season Five, SWAMP, and Forest Portraits are ongoing multi-year series that explore forest environments: human and climate-induced wildfire and their impacts on fragile ecosystems and human culture.

Selling Art With Confidence
Selling Art with Confidence with Lindsay Hebert of Weird Productions
You're an artist, not a salesperson! You went to Art School, Not Biz School!
How the heck are you supposed to know how to sell your art? 🤬
In less than a year, my company, Weird Productions, has sold 100s of pieces of art for local artists. And we've learned a few things:
❌ It's not about how "good" your art is
❌ It's not about where (or if) you went to art school
❌ It's not about how you stack up to other artists
❌ It's not about how long you've been doing art
❌ It's not about prestigious awards or galleries or museums
The best part? You've got everything you need to make money from your art today.
And you can do it in a way that's fun for your weird, creative brain.
🥂 Come ready for wine spritzers and breakthroughs.
📍6pm Wednesday, June 5 @ DAG Gallery at Golden Belt Campus (Mill No. 1 Building, 800 Taylor St, Durham)
