THANK YOU! We are blown away by the numerous ways in which our community showed up for us this year! We raised $25,305 through the 2021 Swing into Spring Online Auction and Virtual Fundraiser. We far exceeded our $20,000 total goal this year and we are so grateful.

Thank you again to all the generous volunteers, sponsors, donating artists, donating businesses, game night participants, auction winners, donors, and those who helped to spread the word! Because of YOU we can move forward with our community arts programs and operations this year.

THANK YOU 2021 DONATING ARTISTS, DONATING BUSINESSES, VOLUNTEERS, AND OTHER EVENT SUPPORTERS

All proceeds from Swing into Spring support the programs and operations of the Durham Art Guild. While DAG is centered here in Durham, we work with artists and residents from ALL over the Triangle area and surrounding region.  All donations to DAG, a 501(c)(3) organization, are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Email us with questions at gallerydirector@durhamartguild.org.

The Durham Art Guild has supported the vibrant, growing and changing creative communities throughout the region for over seven decades and we need YOU to keep these efforts going:

  • Art exhibitions across multiple public partnership venues showcasing over 300 regional artists. These are physical exhibits by appointment and also virtual in today’s way of adapting and operating safely.
  • Arts related events including receptions, lectures, community building gatherings and professional development workshops. These events too have moved to virtual formats for the time being for safety.
  • The Creative Mentorship Program, which pairs local high school students and professional artists in creative collaboration and exploration.
  • The Artist in Residence Program, which provides local emerging artists with free studio space and grant $.
  • The Art@Work Program, which connects local artists to local businesses and enhances our creative economy. We are also now building upon an Art@Home concept to help those seeking art for their personal spaces that they are spending more time in these days!
