Thanatophobia @ Golden Belt Gallery
Posted on December 1, 2022
““Thanatophobia” was inspired by the demise of my grandmother who lost her fight with pancreatic cancer. Experiencing the last breaths of someone I’ve known my entire life to then witness her return to earth as ashes presented clarity what I have been struggling with since adolescence. This context has allowed me to explore feeling and perspective surrounding grief, past trauma, death, and self-talk.”
