The Durham Art Guild presents “Bliss: Salt, Sugar and Fat” featuring work by DAG member Kristen Baumlier-Faber. The food industry painstakingly manipulates ingredients such as salt, sugar, and fat to hit our “bliss point” with every bite. The works in “Bliss: Salt, Sugar and Fat” invite viewers to take a close look at some of the foods that bring our brains closer to euphoria and make us want more.
This exhibition is on view at the DAG Gallery at Golden Belt Campus March 12 – April 5, 2020 (and perhaps extended). Due to current health concerns, the 3rd Friday public reception previously scheduled for Mar. 20 is canceled. We will do our best to make the bulk of this exhibition available online via our e-newsletter and social channels due to that fact that we are encouraging people to follow social distancing recommendations.
