Results Delayed – NOW UPDATED – 2020 Exhibit Selections

UPDATE from 11/21/19 post:

Thank you so much for your patience. The review and assignment/pairing process took a little longer than anticipated, which caused this delay in notification. We greatly appreciate the submissions and the many artists that shared their work with us. There was about a 30% increase in submissions this year, which made the decision making even harder than usual as well. We are thankful for the time and energy that this year’s jury panelists put into the process.

The selected artists and assignments are linked below and DAG is very excited for another great year of programming local and regional artists in the DAG Gallery at Golden Belt and the DAG SunTrust Gallery at the Durham Arts Council! We will be reaching out to the selected artists directly with additional details in the coming weeks and months. If you have been scheduled for an earlier exhibition slot, you will be our first priority to connect with. Selected artists, please confirm with us directly that you have received and accept your exhibition assignment.

There are always way more amazing applicants than we have space for, which makes this process difficult for us and difficult for those who do not get selected. We acknowledge that. While we are limited in the number of primary exhibit venues and exhibition slots that we can offer, DAG is continually working to cultivate new opportunities (paid opportunities) for local artists through our Art@Work Program that connects local artists to local businesses. Please stay tuned to our newsletters and the “news” section on the main page of our website for those and a variety of other opportunities throughout the year.

Thanks again to all of the artists that shared their with us and for their presence in this region’s creative community.
