The weather forecast for this evening (April 19, 3rd Friday Durham) is looking pretty nasty with thunderstorms, strong winds and threat of Tornados predicted.

We have consulted with the management of both buildings of our current exhibitions and artists who are a part of those exhibitions about this evening. The safety of our volunteers, staff and artists is always priority. Below are important updates for tonight’s receptions:

*Golden Belt Campus

DAG Gallery at Golden Belt

CANCELED: April 19 3rd Friday Reception 6-9pm
(Stay tuned for a rescheduled date)

Please note that the Mill No. 1 Building and our gallery at Golden Belt Campus will still be open and accessible if you choose to venture out this evening for 3rd Friday.

*Durham Arts Council Building

SunTrust Gallery

CANCELED: April 19 3rd Friday Reception 6-8pm
(There is already another reception scheduled for May 17 from 6-8pm. Stay tuned on if we are able to reschedule the April reception)
