It is very hard to find out the mystery of art. But I continue to search and discover. I no longer look for answers. I'm learning about art. It feeds me.

To commemorate its 50th anniversary, the Durham Art Guild produced a limited edition serigraph by the late Edith London (1904-1997), a woman who began an artistic career later in life and was an integral member of the Durham Art Guild. The 55-color silkscreen print is in a limited edition of 300 was executed by Carson Tedgett of Charlotte under the supervision of gallery owner and London family friend, Lee Hansley. Proceeds from the serigraphy sales will support endowment funds for the Durham Art Guild and for a future Edith London memorial project to include an annual cash award to a mid-career artist. The serigraphs are available for $350. Please contact the Guild office at 560-2713 or by email to purchase a serigraph and contribute to a most worthwhile effort in Edith London's memory.
